SkillOnNet expanded its partnership with Games Global on 28 July by launching the supplier’s progressive jackpot portfolio across its brands in the UK, Sweden and Mexico. The rollout also added regional jackpot products where applicable, with Maple Moolah going live in Ontario and Carnaval Fortuna in Brazil.

Players on SkillOnNet’s network now have access to Mega Moolah, WowPot and King Millions. The launch extended the partnership into regulated markets across two continents.

Mega Moolah is a networked progressive jackpot in which a portion of every qualifying bet across participating operators feeds a shared prize pool. In October 2015, a UK player won €17.9 million (£13.2 million) on Mega Moolah at Betway, a win Guinness World Records certified at the time as the largest jackpot payout in an online slot machine game.

SkillOnNet described itself as a Malta-based iGaming platform operator and entertainment group founded in 2005. It runs more than 40 branded casino sites in regulated markets worldwide, including PlayOJO, DrückGlück, BacanaPlay and Genting Casino, and holds licences in the UK, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Canada and Mexico.

Games Global acquired Microgaming’s distribution business and jackpot intellectual property, including the Mega Moolah network, in 2022. The company says it holds licences from the Malta Gaming Authority, the UK Gambling Commission and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, among others, and distributes content from a network of more than 50 studio partners.

Jani Kontturi, SkillOnNet’s head of games, said Games Global’s progressive jackpot portfolio is among the most recognisable in the industry and that Mega Moolah, WowPot and King Millions will be available across key regulated markets. Ofir Gal-Mor, Games Global’s SVP of customer experience and gaming innovation, said SkillOnNet has been a valued partner for many years and that the rollout completes the progressive jackpot portfolio across SkillOnNet’s brands in multiple markets.

iGamingBusiness separately reported that SkillOnNet planned to introduce Games Global titles in Peru, Brazil and Buenos Aires City in the coming months.
