BetMGM has launched a new casino brand campaign in the UK, with a Las Vegas-focused ad serving as the first activation of its new Real Deal platform. The work puts the company’s history on the Strip at the heart of its pitch to online casino players.
According to LBBOnline, BetMGM launched The Real Deal as a major integrated campaign designed to highlight what it calls its unique position as the only online casino backed by 50 years of Las Vegas history. The company described the effort as a celebration of its entertainment pedigree and casino expertise.
The campaign was created by RCP and will roll out across TV, online video, social and digital channels, radio and out-of-home advertising throughout the UK. BetMGM said the platform is part of its continued investment in the British market.
At the centre of the launch is a hero film that takes viewers through five decades of Las Vegas history. The film uses visual transformations to showcase MGM’s continued presence in the city, and it was brought to life by director Dominic O’riordan.
Dean Leyland, BetMGM’s UK marketing director, said the company was proud to launch the new platform and described it as a vibrant celebration of its roots. He said it brings 50 years of iconic Las Vegas entertainment heritage directly to UK players.
Leyland also said BetMGM wanted to showcase its history and offer an authentic, premium casino that is “truly the real deal.” The company said the platform is intended to position BetMGM as a confident and trusted casino brand grounded in decades of expertise and experience.
RCP’s chief creative officer, Dan Jacobs, said the brief was to land BetMGM’s authority with craft and authenticity. He said the aim was to create a brand platform that would last years and described the project as a triumph.
Jacobs also credited RCP’s production and post-production partners, including AllThings Creative Studio, 1920 and Coffee and TV, for helping deliver the campaign.
